  1. How do you want to match your products?

Choose your preferred product search method:

  • Select search parameters: Match products using specific fields

  • Set custom mappings: Connect products one-to-one or one-to-many

Tip: 'Select search parameters' is ideal for large catalogs, while 'Set custom mappings' works well for smaller inventories.

If you chose 'Select search parameters', select the Stripe field we should use to identify products and the corresponding e-conomic field to match this with

Note: Matching similar fields (e.g., SKU to Product Number) often yields the best results.

  1. What should we do if a product isn't found in e-conomic?

Select an action when a Stripe product doesn't match any e-conomic product:

  • Do not generate the invoice (halt the integration)

  • Use a default product

  • Create a new product in e-conomic

Understanding your options:

1. Do not generate invoice: This stops the integration process if a product isn't found. Use this if you want to manually review mismatches.

2. Use a default product: This option uses a pre-selected e-conomic product as a placeholder.

  • Select a default product: [Dropdown of e-conomic products]

  • Only the product number from this default product will be used.

  • All other details (name, quantity, price) will come from the Stripe payment.

  • This ensures smooth payment processing but may require reconciliation later.

3. Create a new product: This automatically creates a new product in e-conomic based on the Stripe product details.

  • Select a product group for new products: [Dropdown of e-conomic product groups]

Tip: We recommend using the "Use a default product" option to ensure all invoices are created in e-conomic, but choose the option that best fits your workflow.

  1. Do you want to apply invoice-level discounts?

  • If checked, select an e-conomic product to represent discounts:

  • This allows you to reflect Stripe discounts in your e-conomic invoices.

  1. Directly Charge Your Customers:

  • Charge your customers directly from Stripe without sending any product.

  1. How should product data be mapped?

    • Click on "Edit" and choose the Stripe fields to match with e=conomic fields. This section is applicable only when you've chosen to create a new product when not found

Remember, these settings determine how your product data flows between Stripe and e-conomic. You can always return to adjust them as your business needs change.
