Customer Sync Settings

  1. How do you want to match your customers?

Select the fields to use for customer identification between Stripe and e-conomic.

Tip: Choose unique identifiers like email or customer number for optimal matching.

Sync Process:

  1. The system searches for the customer in e-conomic using your chosen fields.

  2. If found, that customer record is used for the sync.

  3. If not found, a new customer is created in e-conomic.

  1. How should we handle customer numbers?

Select your preference for managing customer numbers:

  • Let e-conomic create the customer number (Recommended)

  • Use the customer number from Stripe

If e-conomic creates the number, where should it be saved in Stripe? Confirm your selection and click on "Save"

Note: Letting e-conomic create the number ensures uniqueness across your e-conomic system.

  1. What are your default settings for new customers?

Configure default values for new customers created in e-conomic from Stripe data:

  • Payment Terms

  • Customer Group

  • VAT Zone

  • Currency

  • Invoice Layout

These defaults can be adjusted for individual customers in e-conomic as needed.

  1. How should customer data fields be mapped?

Define the mapping between Stripe and e-conomic customer fields:

Key points:

- Common fields are pre-mapped for convenience.

- Match similar field types for accurate data transfer (e.g., email to email).

- Click on "Edit" on each row to choose a preferred field from Stripe.

Ready to save your settings? Click on "Save Mappings" at the bottom of the page

Remember, you can always return to adjust these settings as your business needs evolve.
