Product Sync Rules define how products from Pipedrive are matched with those in Fortnox, enabling a simple field-based matching or a direct connection without searching to ensure accurate product syncing and invoicing.

Simple Search

This feature is used to match products between Pipedrive and Fortnox by correlating a specific field, such as SKU or product number. It's particularly useful for users who have long product lists. Choose the corresponding field in Pipedrive and Fortnox for automatic identification from the respective dropdowns.

Direct Link

You can connect products directly without searching. This option is useful for users who have short product lists. Map the Pipedrive fields with the Fortnox fields and click "Save Mappings".

Advance Settings

This option is useful when a product is not found in the search. It offers three options, which are:

• Skip invoice generation: Select this option if you prefer not to create an invoice when a product isn't found in Fortnox.

  

  
  

• Use a default article: When a product is not found in Fortnox, it will use a default article from Fortnox to generate the invoice. If you select this option, you must specify a default article from your Fortnox article list. 

  

  
  

• Create a new article in Fortnox: This option is for automatically generating a new article entry in Fortnox when a matching item isn't found, using product details from Pipedrive.

  

Sync deals which do not have products associated with them

This option is applicable when there are no products in a deal and the user wants to sync the deal. You can check this option. Select the product and click "Finish".

Select a default article to add an overall discount as a line item

Opt for this feature to incorporate invoice-level discounts as line items in Fortnox when chosen. This enables you to apply a standard discount to entire deals, effortlessly showcasing it as a default product within the Pipedrive deal.
