Product Matching Rules
Here, you can define your preferences based on which product sync is performed between Shopify and Xero.
Product Search
You have two choices when performing product sync in Xero:
1. Choose which product fields can be used to perform a search during invoice creation in Xero.
2. Automatically match products using specific fields. Select a Shopify field and corresponding Xero field to match against. Similar fields (like SKU to Product Number) works best. If you do not use SKUs for your Shopify products, try matching your products using the 'Product Name' fields.
If product not found in Xero
If you select Skip Invoice Generation, no invoice will be generated.
If you select Use a Default Product, you can choose not to create a new product and instead let the integration create an invoice.
If you select Create a new product in Xero, a new product will be created based on the product field mapping and added to the invoice.
Exclude Tax
Enable this checkbox to remove taxes applied on Shopify order while creating Xero invoice. Only relevant Xero tax will be applied on the invoice if checkbox is enable. Cloudify does not perform any tax calculations. It depends on your existing tax settings in Xero.
