Daycare is a company that specialises in selling baby products and related services. They had been manually adding customer information to their MailChimp account or mailing list, which was time-consuming and prone to errors.
Daycare approached Cloudify for help in automating their workflow to ensure error-free addition of contacts.

How did we approach it?
Cloudify’s team analysed Daycare’s processes and tech stack and recommended implementing SaaS products to streamline the workflow. The goal was to create a scalable and easy-to-use solution for integrating e-conomic with MailChimp. The team worked closely with Daycare to understand their specific needs and requirements.
After careful evaluation, Cloudify proposed a solution that involved integrating e-conomic with MailChimp. The team developed a custom integration that automatically added new contacts to Daycare’s MailChimp mailing list when a new draft invoice was created in e-conomic.
When a new invoice is created in e-conomic, the solution would automatically add subscribers to the designated mailing list in Mailchimp. The following steps would be taken:
Get customer email from e-conomic: The solution would retrieve the email address of a customer from the e-conomic system using its API.
Create a hash of email for Mailchimp: The solution would hash the retrieved email address using a specific hashing algorithm for data security and privacy purposes.
Add/Update members email in the mailing list in Mailchimp: The solution would use the Mailchimp API to add or update members in the designated mailing list, providing the hashed email address as the identifier.
By automating this process, Cloudify’s solution would not only save time but also ensure that customer information is added to Daycare’s MailChimp account accurately and securely. This custom integration would help Daycare streamline their workflow and achieve their goal of error-free customer data integration.
