QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with at least 3-4 years of experience in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate is someone who not only tests for functionality and performance but also deeply understands the application from the user's perspective. You will work closely with our product and development teams to ensure a smooth and reliable user experience across our applications.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, curious, and eager to take ownership of the QA function—bringing ideas to the table, suggesting improvements, and continuously working to enhance the quality process as the product evolves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing to identify UI/UX issues, functionality bugs, and usability gaps.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.

  • Test APIs using tools like Postman, and validate backend functionalities.

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand feature requirements and ensure complete test coverage.

  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an agile team.

  • Identify, log, and track bugs in issue tracking tools.

  • Continuously research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and best practices to improve QA efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Help build and scale QA systems and processes as the company grows.

Requirements

  • Min of 2-3 years of experience in both manual and automated testing.

  • Experience with Postman for API testing and with any automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).

  • Ability to understand product requirements and user’s perspective.

  • A proactive mindset with the willingness to take initiative and suggest improvements.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance testing or tools like JMeter.

  • Basic scripting or programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python, etc.).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests in deployment workflows.
